Dr. Astrid Nelke has 15 years of experience in corporate communication. After a hotel management training, she studied communication studies. With her thesis and dissertation topics focusing on the internal and external communication of the Lufthansa Group she remained faithful to tourism. Since 2006, Astrid Nelke supports A&O’s PR and since 2011, she is the hostel chain’s press spokeswomen.

• Graphics: Sebastian von Saldern

Sebastian von Saldern is a communication designer with many years of agency experience in on-and offline media. In 2011 he became Creative Director at A&O, and since then, is the very heart of all graphical issues. Something the Hamburg born graphic designer highly appreciates are the virtually unlimited design possibilities at A&O. From creating a single business card up to 30 meter long banners, he designs everything he gets plonked in front of his mouse button.
