We now have 34 locations in 21 cities, and all of them operate according to a standardised concept. Our Berlin headquarters offers support in the areas of IT, bookings, call centre, accounting, human resources, marketing & sales, and management.

As a trainee in our training program you will be thoroughly prepared for your future job for 3 months, although you will have your own areas of responsibility after only a few months. After your training period you will complete a 6-month phase as an auditor to improve your a&o knowledge. If you are well qualified, you will manage your "own hostel" within a very short time.

 

In the induction phase you get to know all work areas and topics that you will later have to master and control as General Manager: Reception, F&B, Housekeeping and of course the actual management activities (e.g. personnel management, back office, BWA,...).

The training takes place primarily in our hostels in Berlin, Leipzig or Cologne. Later locations can be in large cities in Germany or in neighbouring countries.

  • have copmpleted your studies/training in the field of tourism, business administration or related fields
  • ideally, you have already gained initial work experience
  • characterize yourself through a proactive and independent way of working

YOUR JOB

  • Conception, organisation, implementation and further development of personnel development measures, e.g. management training
  • Identification of training and development requirements
  • Selection of suitable trainers, external training institutes and external service providers
  • Content and organisational support for organisational development projects
  • Qualified consulting for specialists, managers and employees in all questions of personnel development
  • Evaluation and control of PE measures

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • A successfully completed degree in education, psychology, economics with a focus on human resources or a comparable course of study
  • Relevant certifications and courses of study / courses in the field of personnel development (e.g. IHK)
  • At least 1 years of relevant professional experience in the field of personnel development
  • Structured working method
  • A high degree of empathy, team spirit and respect in dealing with other people
  • Flexibility, commitment and a pronounced service mentality

YOUR JOB

  • Assist in facilitating of new business opportunities, lead generation (cold calling, sales and marketing campaigns)
  • Support the Head of International Sales and a team of International Sales Managers
  • Support with pre- and after sales activities
  • Research and analyse market data
  • Help increase revenue in the existing and new markets
  • Preparation and realization of product presentations, fairs, sales trips and events
  • Work with Salesforce and preparation of reports
  • Actively inform the sales team of customer related issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree or similar
  • First experiences in sales preferably in hotel industry (max. 2 years)
  • Very good skills in ENGLISH (and DUTCH) (oral and written), more languages are a plus
  • Located max. 20KM from our Amsterdam office
  • Perfect handling of IT and MS Office programs
  • Ability to work independently and results-oriented
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Marketing experience or experience supporting a Marketing department is a bonus.
