Security and Quality
Nowadays safety and aspects of quality of a youth accommodation have more and more become the focus of interest. In former times these accommodations used to be located at the outskirts of a town or in surrounding municipalities of larger cities; though today they are in the middle of the city centres. Thus special demands are being made regarding the security of the guests, most of whom are under age.
SECURITY:
In all A&O Hotels and Hostels the security of our guests is one of our first priorities. Without exception all rooms as well as all public and private areas are connected via fire detectors with the central fire alarm system which in turn has a direct line to the firebrigade so that the emergency service is alerted immediately in case of an emergency. We pay special attention to access control of our hotels and hostels. After all, our guests are to stay safely. In order to refuse unauthorized people admission to the hotels and the rooms we protect all room and corridor doors with key cards. Only with the right key card the hotel and the room may be entered. In all A&O Hotels and Hostels, the complete security technology is maintained by particularly trained staff. Our night watch men make sure that all of our guests are able to sleep in peace.
SEAL OF APPROVAL:
We stand by our statement and have independent organisations verifying this. Thus the complete A&O group is certified by the TÜV, has 4 out of 5 possible hostel stars of the QMJ (quality management of child and youth journeys) and has received the quality seal of Reisenetz e.V., a registered travel association.
BOARDING:
We offer a complete cold buffet for breakfast. Here you can choose from cereals, full grain products, different types of sausage and cheese, hot and cold beverages as well as fruit and salad. Groups of 10 persons or more can also book dinner, which always includes a salad buffet as well as high-quality convenience products of the Rewe group.
