An explanation of the 3-tier staff membership system:
Orange Is assigned to all apprentices during their course at a&o. In addition, all new members of staff that we welcome into the company will receive an orange staff ID card for their initial 18 months in the company.

Black is the 'VIP version' of the staff ID card. It is assigned after five years working for a&o and can also be awarded by management. The 'black card' is also a 'partner card' for special business associates.
