Stacks of discounts with the staff ID

  • Always free accommodation in any a&o hostel
  • Staff ID card with plenty of discounts for leisure activities 
    (e.g. cultural highlights and top events; travel, musicals, cruises)
  • An explanation of the 2 stage staff membership system: 
    • Blue Is assigned to every employee regardless of their position in the company.
      • Employees sleep for 1 € per night / person incl. breakfast
      • Employees receive a personal quota of overnight stays
      • Contingent nights transferable to family and friends
      • Employees receive a 50% discount on the special bar price list (not in their  own establishment)
      • Employee drinks and hot beverages are free of charge
      • Employee ID card with many discount partners in the leisure sector (e.g. cultural and event highlights, travel, musicals, boat trips)
    • Black is the 'VIP version' of the staff ID card. It is assigned after five years working for a&o and can also be awarded by management. The 'black card' is also a 'partner card' for special business associates.
      • employees and accompanying friends or family staying in the same room receive free accommodation and breakfast with the VIP card<
      • all catering, drinks and room extras are complimentary (not including agency services such as event or travel tickets)
      • also extends to 'Family & Friends' bookings in a reasonable scope, even if the employees themselves are not included in the party. Here we offer a 20% discount on the current room prices (applies exclusively to accommodation)

Company bonus schemes

  • Company pension fund (bAV) for full-time staff:
    e.g.: if an employee decides to save €100 as part of the pension scheme, the amount will be deducted from the gross salary; the employee saves on taxes and national insurance contributions. a&o also subsidises the company pension fund by contributing a further 20%. .
  • Performance-based bonuses on all career levels, from apprentices and receptionists to sales and hotel managers.
