Our application process

You want to get your career moving with a&o? Great! Simply apply!  Send your complete application by email to the contact person stated in the classified ad.¬¬ We look forward to hearing from you! 

Read on to learn how the application process at a&o is organised: 

Please send us an impressive covering letter with CV, all relevant references and your salary expectations to give us an impression of you and your qualifications. Put it all together in a PDF file with no more than 5MB. Please note that we are unable to consider applications submitted by post.

We will send you a confirmation of receipt as soon as we have received your application.¬ Afterwards we will scrutinise your application thoroughly. This check will take around two to three weeks. It might be quicker, depending on the department. Please do not send us any enquiries during this period. We will get back to you if there are any questions. You will be short-listed if your skills and overall impression match the a&o job vacancy.¬ Then we will invite you to an interview.

This is where we meet face-to-face! You can use the interview to discuss the position with the line manager and to clarify what you both expect. We present a&o as a company and employer. Other people may also attend the interview, depending on the vacant position you applied for.

We will make you a definite offer if your interview was convincing. There will also be discussions about the actual steps involved in onboarding. And if you feel good about it as well, we will be delighted to welcome you into the a&o team!
