YOUR JOB
As allround employee, you really are an all-rounder: you work flexibly in different shifts like reception, breakfast, restaurant, bar and general service, and filling in for those services is not a problem for you.
The reception desk/ bar area will be your primary field of responsibility – this means:
- You will be responsible for the Check-In and Check-Out of our guests behind the reception desk or in the lobby as a guest relation officer
- To ensure all our guests enjoy their stay at a&o, you will cater to their needs and answer their questions
- At the bar your job is to serve hot and cold drinks and snacks, as well as to prepare cocktails
During
restaurant-shifts, you are responsible for:
- The timely preparation of breakfast-, lunch- or dinner-buffet
- Ensuring that our guest are satisfied and that hygiene-standards are always kept
Besides the tasks mentioned above:
- You will assist the Front Office Manager with day-to-day tasks and be an extra pair of hands to keep things running smoothly.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have experience or a completed training in the hotel industry or tourism
- Of course, you are driven by a great sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.
- You enjoy dealing with guests - and you show it, regardless of the time of day or night
- You are characterised by an independent way of working and the ability to work in a team.
- A high degree of commitment and independence are a matter of course for you.
- Even in shifts that start at 6 a.m., it is easy for you to remain friendly, highly motivated and service-oriented.
- Your English skills are on a B2 level – of course we are happy for every additional language you are able to speak
