Semper Opera
The Semper Opera, one of the most superb operas in the world, is Dresden´s landmark. Destroyed in World War II, it took exactly 40 years to rebuild and reopen the opera. Tickets should be purchased in advance (up to 6 months), as the Semper Opera is one of the most popular operas in the world. On a short-dated trip it is at least possible to visit the building with a guided tour.
