Centrally located: a&o Stuttgart City

a&o Stuttgart City is located 2 km north of the Central Station and is three stops or a seven-minute ride on the U12 (city rail) from the Milchhof station. The city center with its many attractions, including Schlossplatz, the Staatstheater and the historic Zahnradbahn, a rack railway, are just a short walk away. It is best to arrive by car, bus or train.

Special features of our hostel a&o Stuttgart City

The Green U – Stuttgart's most beautiful series of gardens complete with beer gardens, mineral baths and the Killesbergturm (viewing tower) are practically neighbours of a&o Stuttgart City. The Cannstatter Wasen and the Mercedes-Benz World along with the arena are just a few stops away. So there is a lot to see! After a day of sightseeing, take advantage of our modern and spacious rooms and treat yourself to an evening nap. Reception and the lobby bar are open 24 hours a day for you. Highly recommended: recoup with a playful round of billiards or table football in the lobby. Have a look too at the bar menu: delicious snacks and refreshing drinks guaranteed!

From Stuttgart Airport:

 

Directly from the airport (level 1, terminal 1) take the S-Bahn line S2 or S3 in the direction of Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. The journey takes 27 minutes. At Stuttgart Central Station (at Arnulf-Klett-Platz), take the U12 and travel 3 stops to Milchhof. Then walk for about 7 minutes along the Rosensteinstraße. The a&o Stuttgart City is on the right side.

How much does one night at a&o cost?

Prices at a&o depend on availability. The fewer beds available in a room category, the higher the prices; when occupancy is low, they automatically decrease. Basically, this means for guests: The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. On the other hand, last-minute travelers can usually continue to take advantage of great last-minute offers - of course, only as long as the relevant category is available.

How are the rooms at a&o equipped?

All room categories offer modern hotel standard with private bathroom and free WiFi. As a rule, each room also has a TV. Single, double and family rooms include bed linen and towels. Family rooms consist of a double bed and one or two bunk beds. Dorm rooms have four to eight beds. Bed linen can be brought or reserved for a small additional fee. All bathrooms are standard equipped with shower/WC, 2-in-1 shower gel, hair dryer and cosmetic tissues.

Can I stay with a dog/pet at a&o?

At a&o, a maximum of two dogs or pets can be taken without any problems in single or double rooms - for an additional fee of 13 euros per animal and night. The animals should just not be too large or exotic.

Can I cook for myself at a&o?

Cooking for yourself is not a problem at a&o. Most a&os offer a well-equipped guest kitchen. Which hostels have a guest kitchen is noted on the respective hostel website and in the booking confirmation.

Are there cribs at a&o?

Each hostel has cribs that can be borrowed free of charge. When booking online, simply note this in the notes field. The room will be prepared accordingly.

Are a&o Hostels accessible for people with disabilities?
