A&O strengthens sales with youth tourism expert Roger Ruiz
A&O HOTELS and HOSTELS won over an experienced sales specialist for Southern Europe with Astur language travel consultant Roger Ruiz.
Ruiz founded the language and youth travel tour operator Astur Sprachreisen in Fulda, which the former CEO successfully sold two years ago. The native Frenchman will lead the markets of France, Italy and Spain for the European A&O hotel group in the future.
"A thoroughbred tourism expert like Roger cannot sit at home. It is a great blessing for us that we were able to engage him for our South European source markets. He is very well networked and very, very experienced. This fits in perfectly with our future focus on foreign countries," said Oliver Winter, General Manager of A&O.
Roger Ruiz on his new task: "After so many years of trusting business partnership with A&O, I am looking forward to the new challenge of doing exactly what I have been doing for years as a sideline already: namely making A&O internationally known."
