On June 4th, A&O opened its first newly-built hostel/hotel in direct proximity to Berlin’s main station.

Situated on a quiet side street only 400m away from the station, the building contains 300 rooms with ca. 800 beds, divided into a HOTEL and a HOSTEL area. Here you can expect our customary good quality service at reasonable prices in the centre of Berlin.

The A&O Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the ideal starting point for all visitors to Berlin. Located between the west of the city (Ku’damm) and the east (Alexanderplatz) and only a short walk from the government district with the Chancellor’s office, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden, the new A&O HOTEL and HOSTEL Berlin Hauptbahnhof in Lehrter Straße will be the most modern of all Berlin A&Os.

Besides its classic single, double and multiple-bed rooms, equipped with shower/WC, WLAN and hair-dryer, the A&O Berlin Hauptbahnhof will also provide spacious family rooms. And the best news of all – at A&O children up to and including 17 years of age can sleep in their parents’ room at no extra charge.

But families are not our only priority; conference and seminar guests are also always welcome. From spring 2011 we will be offering professional events organisation. Modern seminar and group rooms will be available, with all the necessary technical equipment.

From autumn 2010, the “Teacher's Lounge” will be open to group leaders and teachers – a quiet room for work and relaxation, equipped with PC, printer, Internet access and a telephone.

In the hotel-lobby, you will find the reception desk manned around the clock, as well as several Internet terminals, a souvenir shop, a free safe for guests, and our lobby bar. Our friendly staff are always ready to help you with tips and tickets for your stay in Berlin.
