Middle of the student district
In the middle of the student district in Berlin Friedrichshain surrounded by trendy bars, clubs and shops for young people, you will find our A&O Berlin Friedrichshain.
There is good access to public transport facilities - S-Bahn station Ostkreuz (only 4 stops away from the famous Alexanderplatz) and bus route 240 (which heads directly towards the train station Ostbahhof).
The redeveloped brick building is located in a spacious park with a beer garden, a volleyball court and barbecue facilities.
You can choose between single and twin rooms with private facilities. Conference rooms and equipment is also available on request.

Parking facilities for buses as well as cars are directly in front of our hostel. Internet facilities and pool billiard are located in the bar and lobby area.
The bar is open from 8.00am to 1.00pm and 5.00pm to open-end.
A&O Art Project
In the end of 2008, all multi-bedded rooms with shared vacilities have been newly designed by two Berlin streetart artists, Daniel Mory and Florian Bredendiek of IWS Design. This room category is mainly booked by young people and backpackers, a target group for whom we chose an art form suiting the typical Berlin way of life.
The artists gave their artwork in our hostel titles such as “Blaue Lagune”, “3D-Zirkus” or “Milka(t)raum”.
If you would like to experience this art, all you have to do is book a night in one of our dorms!
International Summer Camp in Berlin
Young people from many countries come together in summer 2008 in our A&O Hostel in Friedrichshain to learn the German language in the courses of our partner ASTUR Sprachreisen.
