From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):

On foot: From the Central Station it is not even 100 meters. Take the exit Sonnwendgasse, turn left into the Sonnwendgasse, which runs in front of the station square. There you can see the BFA building (Federal Finance Academy) with a glass front and red accents, onto which you can walk. In front of the building turn left into the small street that leads you directly to the a&o entrance.

By U-Bahn: The underground U1 runs directly under the Central Station. The station is also indicated on the maps of the public transport network as Hauptbahnhof / Südtiroler Platz because the subway station and the station share the same building. Just follow the signs. But be careful, because there are many exits. Therefore, we recommend that you first of all find the way to the main building. Take the exit Sonnwendgasse. Turn left into Sonnwendgasse, which runs in front of the station square. There you will see the glass-fronted BFA building that you walk towards. Before the building, turn left into the small street that leads you directly to the a&o entrance.

By tram: Tram line 18 operates underground at the main station and can be reached via the lower levels of the main building. Trams O and D, on the other hand, stop at the Südtiroler Platz on the other side of the main station, which leads to the 4th district of Vienna. Here you have to walk through the main building to the other side, exit Sonnwendgasse. Turn left into Sonnwendgasse, which runs in front of the station square. There you will see the glass-fronted BFA building that you walk towards. In front of the building turn left into the small street that leads you directly to the a&o entrance.

From Wien-Schwechat Airport:

You can take the S-Bahn S7 direction Floridsdorf to the Rennweg (runs every 30 minutes). From there you can take any other S-Bahn directly to the Central Station. A ride costs 4 € and applies to the entire Viennese network. You can also take the ÖBB Railjet (journey time: 30 minutes) from the airport directly to Vienna Central Station (3.90 €). Alternatively, the airport shuttle (CAT) will bring you to the stop Landstraße / Wien Mitte for 11 € (information on www.cityairpottrain.com).
