Dates & opening times of the Oktoberfest 2025
Oktoberfest 2025 starts on Saturday, 20 September and ends on Sunday, 5 October.
The official opening hours are daily from 9:00 to 23:30. Beer serving ends at 22:30. Exceptions are the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke and the Kufflers Weinzelt, which are open until 1:00 am.
The most important beer tents & how to get a seat
The Wiesn offers a variety of beer tents, each with its own charm:
- Schottenhamel: This is where the tapping traditionally takes place.
- Hofbräu-Festzelt: International audience and high beer sales.
- Paulaner-Festzelt: The largest tent with a diverse audience.
- Fischer-Vroni: Famous for fish dishes and the ‘Pink Party’ for the LGBTQ community.
Table reservations are free, but vouchers for food and drinks must be purchased in advance. Reservations are only possible by the table for 8-10 people and cost around €350 on average. Make sure you only book through official channels, as reselling is not permitted.
