From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):

Take the Central Station’s footbridge and turn left after 180 meters into the Dompropst-Ketzter-Straße. Follow the road until you reach a roundabout. Then take the first driveway leading into Marzellenstraße. After 300 meters Marzellenstraße leads to Ursulaplatz. At the corner of the next crossroad is the a&o hotel Köln Hauptbahnhof on the right.

 
From the Central Bus Station (ZOB):

The ZOB Köln is located on the other side of the Central Station and is only 750 meters away from the a&o Hotel Köln Hauptbahnhof. Leave the ZOB in the direction of Johannisstraße and walk through the Central Station to the station forecourt. Take the pedestrian overpass and after about 180 meters turn left into Dompropst-Ketzer-Straße. Follow the road until you come to the roundabout and then take the first exit (Marzellenstraße). After 300 meters, Marzellenstraße becomes Ursulaplatz. At the corner of the next crossroad is the a&o hotel Köln Hauptbahnhof on the right.

 
From Cologne / Bonn Airport:

Take the S13 direction Horrem to Cologne Central Station. Leave the Central Station via the exit direction Dom. How much does one night at a&o cost?

Prices at a&o depend on availability. The fewer beds available in a room category, the higher the prices; when occupancy is low, they automatically decrease. Basically, this means for guests: The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. On the other hand, last-minute travelers can usually continue to take advantage of great last-minute offers - of course, only as long as the relevant category is available.

How are the rooms at a&o equipped?

All room categories offer modern hotel standard with private bathroom and free WiFi. As a rule, each room also has a TV. Single, double and family rooms include bed linen and towels. Family rooms consist of a double bed and one or two bunk beds. Dorm rooms have four to eight beds. Bed linen can be brought or reserved for a small additional fee. All bathrooms are standard equipped with shower/WC, 2-in-1 shower gel, hair dryer and cosmetic tissues.

Can I stay with a dog/pet at a&o?

At a&o, a maximum of two dogs or pets can be taken without any problems in single or double rooms - for an additional fee of 13 euros per animal and night. The animals should just not be too large or exotic.

Can I cook for myself at a&o?

Cooking for yourself is not a problem at a&o. Most a&os offer a well-equipped guest kitchen. Which hostels have a guest kitchen is noted on the respective hostel website and in the booking confirmation.

Are there cribs at a&o?

Each hostel has cribs that can be borrowed free of charge. When booking online, simply note this in the notes field. The room will be prepared accordingly.
