Our largest a&o in Berlin shines in a new design with chic lobby and a large terrace. The rooms are modernly furnished and all have a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and in all rooms. The reception and the bar with delicious drinks and snacks are open 24 hours a day.

The a&o Berlin Mitte is located in the Berlin district of the same name and is just two underground stations from the Alexanderplatz and 10 minutes by foot from the Ostbahnhof. With its central location the hostel is easy to reach by car, train or public transport and is the ideal starting point for excursions into the metropolis Berlin.

From Ostbahnhof:
Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. Turn right down to the traffic light, then cross the broad street to the left and walk across the bridge to the next traffic light. There you turn right into Köpenicker Straße. At the next street corner is the a&o Berlin Mitte.
From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):
From the Central Station there are only 5 S-Bahn stations. You can reach the S-Bahn station Ostbahnhof with every S-Banh line. Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. Turn right down to the traffic light, then cross the broad street to the left and walk across the bridge to the next traffic light. There you turn right into Köpenicker Straße. At the next street corner is the a&o Berlin Mitte.
From the Central Bus Station (ZOB):
From S-Bahnhof Messe Nord / ICC take the S42 or S46 one stop to Westkreuz and from there take the S3, S5 or S7 to Ostbahnhof. Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. Turn right down to the traffic light, then cross the broad street to the left and walk across the bridge to the next traffic light. There you turn right into Köpenicker Straße. At the next street corner is the a&o Berlin Mitte.
Or: Take the U2 underground line from Kaiserdamm to Märkisches Museum. From there take the bus 165 or 265 and get off at Köpenicker Straße / Adalbertstraße.
By plane:
From Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER): Take the regional trains RB14/RE7 or the S9 to the S-Bahn station Berlin Ostbahnhof. From there you can walk 10 minutes to the a&o Berlin Mitte or alternatively take the bus lines 140/147 to the Bethaniendamm stop. From there it is just 300 metres to the a&o Berlin Mitte.
