The a&o Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof is just 300 meters from the Central Station and the Altstadt. Because of the amazingly central location the a&o hostel is easy to reach by public transportation as well as by car, and offers you the ideal starting point for excursions into the city.

The a&o Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof offers you both modern rooms as well as an a&o Lounge and conference rooms to relax and work. The enormous lobby and bar invite you to relax and have fun after a full day. For those arriving by car, this a&o offers a few private parking spaces. An online reservation in advance is highly recommended. Our staff will also provide with some tips for good parking possibilities nearby.

From the Central Station it is 500 meters to the a&o Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof. Leave the Central Station through the eastern exit towards the post office building. Turn left and then right onto Bahnhofsplatz. Follow the left-hand bend of the street and then turn right into Bahnhofstraße. Follow this road until you see the hostel on the left.

 
From the Central Bus Station (ZOB):

The ZOB in Nuremberg is located in the Käte-Strobel-Straße, next to the a&o Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof. Easy not to miss!

 
From Nurnberg Airport:

Take the U2 towards Röthenbach. Within 8 stops and 13 minutes, this will take you to the Central Station. Leave the main station through the eastern exit towards the post office building. Turn left and then right onto Bahnhofsplatz. Follow the left-hand bend of the street and then turn right into Bahnhofstraße. Follow this road until you see the hostel on the left.

How much does one night at a&o cost?

Prices at a&o depend on availability. The fewer beds available in a room category, the higher the prices; when occupancy is low, they automatically decrease. Basically, this means for guests: The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. On the other hand, last-minute travelers can usually continue to take advantage of great last-minute offers - of course, only as long as the relevant category is available.

How are the rooms at a&o equipped?

All room categories offer modern hotel standard with private bathroom and free WiFi. As a rule, each room also has a TV. Single, double and family rooms include bed linen and towels. Family rooms consist of a double bed and one or two bunk beds. Dorm rooms have four to eight beds. Bed linen can be brought or reserved for a small additional fee. All bathrooms are standard equipped with shower/WC, 2-in-1 shower gel, hair dryer and cosmetic tissues.

Can I stay with a dog/pet at a&o?

At a&o, a maximum of two dogs or pets can be taken without any problems in single or double rooms - for an additional fee of 13 euros per animal and night. The animals should just not be too large or exotic.

Can I cook for myself at a&o?

Cooking for yourself is not a problem at a&o. Most a&os offer a well-equipped guest kitchen. Which hostels have a guest kitchen is noted on the respective hostel website and in the booking confirmation.

Are there cribs at a&o?

Each hostel has cribs that can be borrowed free of charge. When booking online, simply note this in the notes field. The room will be prepared accordingly.
