Centrally located: a&o Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof

The a&o Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof is just 900 meters from the Central Station and can easily be reached by tram in just a few minutes. The main shopping street "Kö" is only 200 meters away. With its central location, the a&o is easy to reach by car, train or tram, and is an ideal starting point for excursions into the city.

In addition to its comfortable rooms, the a&o Hostel Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof also has modern common rooms and conference rooms to relax and work. The large, beautiful lobby and bar area provide a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of room to meet new people. The hostel has an underground parking garage available for guests arriving by car.

Directions

From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):

On foot: You can reach the a&o in about 900 meters or 12 minutes on foot. To do this, turn left from Konrad-Adenauer-Platz into Graf-Adolf-Straße. At the roundabout, turn the second street half left into Karl-Rudolf-Straße, which then becomes Corneliusstraße. The a&o Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof Is on the right side. By tram: Take the tram 709 from the Central Station in the direction of Theodor-Heuss-Platz or the 708 in the direction of Polizeipräsidium and go two stops to Berliner Allee. From there it is only about 4 minutes walk. Just down the Berliner Alle / Corneliusstraße heading south. The a&o is on the right side.

By Bus: Take the 732 "Niederflurbus" to D-Lausward (platform 14) to Corneliusstraße. Then walk the street for about 100 meters. The a&o Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof is on the left side.

The bus stop for inner-city journeys can be found in front of the main entrance of the station (Konrad-Adenauer-Platz). There are buses and trams. Furthermore, there is a billboard with all tram and bus lines and the corresponding departure times above the exit.

 
From Dusseldorf Airport:

Take the Airport Express, the regional train or the suburban train from platform 4 or 6 to Dusseldorf Central Station (time: 6-12 minutes). Turn left from Konrad-Adenauer-Platz into Graf-Adolf-Straße. At the roundabout, turn the second street half left into Karl-Rudolf-Straße, which then becomes Corneliusstraße. How are the rooms at a&o equipped?

All room categories offer modern hotel standard with private bathroom and free WiFi. As a rule, each room also has a TV. Single, double and family rooms include bed linen and towels. Family rooms consist of a double bed and one or two bunk beds. Dorm rooms have four to eight beds. Bed linen can be brought or reserved for a small additional fee. All bathrooms are standard equipped with shower/WC, 2-in-1 shower gel, hair dryer and cosmetic tissues.

Can I stay with a dog/pet at a&o?

At a&o, a maximum of two dogs or pets can be taken without any problems in single or double rooms - for an additional fee of 13 euros per animal and night. The animals should just not be too large or exotic.

Can I cook for myself at a&o?

Cooking for yourself is not a problem at a&o. Most a&os offer a well-equipped guest kitchen. Which hostels have a guest kitchen is noted on the respective hostel website and in the booking confirmation.

Are there cribs at a&o?

Each hostel has cribs that can be borrowed free of charge. When booking online, simply note this in the notes field. The room will be prepared accordingly.
