I booked my ticket online – where can I find it?

Your ticket is stored in the a&o App under your booking. Simply log in, open your booking and go to “My Tickets”.

Do I need to print the ticket?

No. The ticket is available exclusively in digital form in the a&o App and must be activated there before travelling.

When do I need to activate the ticket?

The ticket must be activated before travelling or from the booked validity date.

Can I book city tickets for several people?

Yes, some city tickets such as the Hamburg Card Group or CologneCard are available as group tickets for up to 5 people – ideal for couples, families and groups of friends.

What is the difference between the Deutschlandticket and a city ticket?

The Deutschlandticket is valid throughout Germany on the entire local public transport network – ideal for travelling between several cities. City tickets are only valid in the respective city, but often include extras such as free museum admission or discounts at tourist partners.
