The breakfast was, for the price, quite good. There was a big variety in different toppings, sweets and breads. There were also vegan alternatives. The rooms, ours specifically, was a disaster. We made it work but it felt like a closet where somebody shoved in four beds. Other that that, our room did not have a closet. The bathroom was fine. It's clean but quite claustrophobic. Overall it's a good choice for cheap resting. But only if you spent the whole day outside and only plan on sleeping and eating here. The pancakes also weren't really finished, but editable.

I arrived by 11pm which I indicated during booking. There was only one receptionist who was extremely overwhelmed because of the amount of people. There was nobody working at the bar so the receptionist was doing both. I checked on online 24 hours in advance like you guys advertised everywhere and then the app stopped working completely. The lights in my forst room was nit working so I had to go back to the reception to get a new room. My new room was dirty. There were pee stains on the toilet. The shower was extremely dirty. I could wipe off dirt from the shower head. The sink was not cleaned. And the WiFi was not working. I have stayed in other hostels but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had

good quality for good price, excellent location, very good breakfast. Friendly staff - Basia in the breakfast area - friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous staff, comfortable room, good price and well located

a@o hostel friedrichshain is probably the best hostel ive stayed in. Rooms are tidy, very clean at night the security walk around making sure people are quiet. Lovely bar area, staff are very helpful throughout the hostel especially Ankit who at a very busy breakfast restaurant was extremely helpful didn’t stop walking around cleaning making sure all breakfast items with full and helping others. Would definitely use this hostel again in the future. Only issue i had personally is i brought a coach here and the parking is extremely tight and just wish the staff would keep the coach parking area clear to make it easier to park as there is no coach parking nearby but cars were parked there daily
