Botanical & Zoological Museums

Both museums are located at the Martin-Luther-King Platz 3, 20146 Hamburg (Rotherbaum). There is no entrance fee and the house are open thuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..

 

Hamburg Dungeon

The Hamburg Dungeon is a creepy nonserious trip through Hamburgs´s history. Fun for the whole family combined with some knowledge about the city.

Hamburger Kunsthalle

To a good 20.000 m² the visitors of this museum can admire all styles of European art. Paintings, drawings and sculptures from the Gothic era till modernity. The Hamburger Kunsthalle ist one of the biggest art museums in Germany. It is open thuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., on Thursdays even until 9 p.m.. The entrance fee is 6,- Euro, reduced 4,- Euro.

Speicherstadtmuseum

The Old Warehouse District is situateted in the center of Hamburg´s harbour. Here are stored spicery, carpeting, coffee and many other goods up to a worth of one milliard euro. Hafens. The museum is situated in a typical storehouse and gives an authentic impression of the trading history.

U-Boot Museum U-434

With a length of 90,16 m and a width of 8,72 m ist he U-434 ein of the biggest non-nuclear submarines of the world. Open10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the summertime even longer.
