When we take a peek over our hobby chef’s shoulders, we keep thinking that travel meals are so much more creative than the normal friend of pasta sauce thinks:
There is - for example - the practical all-rounder: porridge oats combined with fruit and honey for breakfast, served as biscuits soaked in melted chocolate onto a tray or as a crunchy breading around the schnitzel in the evening (seen at Freja from Denmark).
Another classic that is filling and can both be enjoyed sweet and savory are pancakes. At A&O Vienna we have seen Amy from the United States testing all possible combinations for three days in a row (nutella, ham and cheese, carrot and corn, mushrooms and cream cheese, sugar and apple).
Marten from Estonia cooks his meals even simpler: Just frozen vegetables refined with oil, a steak added - done!
